About Us
Mission Statement
As the founder of FairFares, I started this company to solve a problem I faced far too often. Traveling long distance between University in Ottawa, and my family back in Kitchener was an experience I would dread. There were more problems with this journey than there were solutions. The train is comfortable but far too expensive, not to mention I would still have to make transfers between buses to get from Toronto to Kitchener. Busses were more in my budget, but at the mental and physical expense of what always turned into a nine hour journey that would cost me a day each way. It left me wondering, how is there not a better way to get between Ontario’s major cities?
So I set out to create one. Riding in comfort should be easy, and not cost an arm and a leg. FairFares gives you the best of both worlds. The comfort of private cars with the affordability of the bus services. We directly connect Ottawa, the Toronto area, and the Waterloo Region. Say goodbye to transfers and wasted time.

What we offer
- Charging stations: Our devices are an important part of our lives, and that's why every seat has access to a charging port.
- Free water: Stay hydrated! We have rest stops if you need.
- Scheduled rest stops: Everyone needs a break on a long drive. Our drivers will inform you of scheduled rest stops so we can take the breaks we need while staying on schedule.
- Additional luggage space: Sometimes big trips require big luggage. Check out our FAQs to learn more.
- Pet friendly: Feel free to bring your fur family with you. Check out our FAQs to learn more.
- Private trips: Do you need to get a group from one city to another? Rent a shuttle service with a driver included to get your group where they need to go.

- Bilingual services: Canada is a bilingual country, and that is important to us. Our priority is introducing French services.
- High speed Wifi: As a working professional, I know how important it is to get stuff done and a long drive can be the perfect time!
- Track your ride: Sometimes traffic or weather happens, but we want to keep you informed. Track your ride will show you exactly where your shuttle service is at all times.

- New cities: We know how important it is to connect other large cities. Our next expansion will focus on London, Barrie, Windsor, Montreal and more!
